  • Checked for leaks under vehicle and no significant leaks were present. Pressure tested the cooling system and no leaks were found. Scanned for codes and vehicle had an engine under boost condition stored. Road tested to check actual vs desired boost pressure and the actual boost was about 13 psi lower than desired. The turbo will need to be replaced to repair the vehicle.

  • Tech pressure tested cooling system. Pressure dropped after about 40 minutes. Lifted vehicle and lowered front shield. Tech was able to determine that the DS turbo coolant supply tube was leaking at the fitting going into the turbo. Suggest replacing the line along with the fittings as they are both known issues with these engines.
  • Replace coolant delivery and return pipes along with fittings. Replaced oil feed/return pipe during the process.

  • Vehicle had a compression union used to repair the brake line along the frame. Ran a new line aling the frame to the rear axle. Ran a new line to the left rear wheel. During the bleeding process, the tubing in the right front along the frame rail near the engine began leaking. Replace the tubing to the RF hose as well. Finished bleeding brakes as needed.
  • Tech had to cut lower portion of frame to open it up and remove the rust in between the frame sections to be able to plate it accordingly. Tech found two other sections in the right front frame area on the outside that needed to be patched during the process. Repaired all sections as needed for MSI.
  • Three tire pressures were at about 25 psi. Set all pressures to 37 psi and reset TPMS indicator.
